"Eye Lid"
This pot was wheel-thrown using raku crank and then bisque fired to cone 07.
It was glazed with white and blue crackle and with copper matt around the shoulder of the pot. It was then fired in a raku kiln to about 1000degC. Finally it was heavily fumed in softwood shavings and cooled with controlled exposure to oxygen to give the vibrant effects unique to raku.
