Handbuilt porcelain paperclay slabs, cut and pierced.
Electric fired to 1250C.
48 x 45 x 30 cms
The UK's millenium celebrations are concentrated on the newly constructed Dome next to the Thames in London ( a site it has to be said that is nearer to Paris than it is to the two thirds of the UK north of Manchester ) As a grand design it mirrors my lantern perfectly - falling apart from the outset and full of holes.
