Christine Cox ceramics. Current work 2012

A series of work trying to replicate textures, colours and surfaces found on the kiln shelves of a wood-fire kiln in France. This involved creating new slips and glazes to go on Earthstone 40 body ( a new clay to me) and firing the work in an electric kiln. Done over a three week period for an installation at Greystoke Arts Festival.........interesting journey!
