My method is usually to work on short well defined projects. These might last initially from a few weeks to several months,
often revisited from time to time over the years.

Most projects are to a theme, involving research and interpretation but an essential part of each one is the use of a different type of clay or the same clay in a different form, or fired by different means. In this way the theme provides a vehicle to explore the unique qualities that each one brings to the table.

Each project is seen as an entity in itself but each one adds another colour to the palette and each one suggesting the next line of enquiry.
