2000 - 1 month workshop residency in Yokkaichi, Japan
2003 - Co-ordinated and participated in joint Japanese / British demonstrations and exhibition in Yokkaichi, Japan.
2007 - Research trip to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia including one week at Ban Chan pottery village, Luang Prabang.
2008 - Mick Casson award for services to ceramics ( Geoff & Chris Cox )
