To launch National Ceramics Week (1st - 8th
May) under the umbrella of National Crafts Month, we are staging a potters
market in Greystoke
Church, Greystoke, near Penrith, Cumbria and an exhibition of
special pieces made by 10 Cumbrian makers inspired by the theme of "Pilgrimage".
Special preview evening Friday May 4th, 6-30 pm- 8-30pm. All welcome.
Support our Empty Bowls Project and join
us for Soup & Bread.
A £10 donation gets you soup, bread and a wonderful hand-made ceramic
bowl to take home with you. Money raised is going to Christian Aid to
help famine relief.
16 Cumbrian potters will also be manning a potters market in the church
on Friday evening 6pm - 8-30pm, and daily from Saturday to Monday 10am
- 5pm
