pieces in stoneware clay with additions of various slips, wire, metal
My current work (towards the end of the slideshow) follows an investigation
into the making of Derwent Howe near Workington - an old industrial site
where the tippings from the iron and steel works have formed some of the
coastal cliff and beach scenery. Sea erosion here has resulted in some
wonderful textures, colours, shapes and conglomerates.
