Every so often I abandon 3D and return to my fine art roots and use the explorations of slips, textures, and glazes in my decoration of wall-work.

The last few images are from the current theme I'm working on of "The Making of Derwent Howe"

Years of tipping molten iron and steel at the sea's edge have resulted in the formation of cliffs and beach ledges of incredible intricacy and interest.

In my mind's eye I'm standing in the water looking up as the last slag ladle is tipped, red hot and molten over the edge of the cliff, melding with the strata already there - heading downwards towards the sea.
