Each year the potters are asked to make a special piece to a theme - this year's was to celebrate our links with the German pottery town of
Hohr-Grenzhausen, near Koblenz - "Cultural Connections - Building Bridges".
All the exhibits were displayed on the lawns in front of the House, and the public were invited to vote for their favourites.

Richard Godfrey was the winner of the Potfest Prize 2009 - a featured article in the prestigious German ceramic publication "Neue Keramik".
Judged by the group of ceramicists from Hohr-Grenzhausen and Potfest organisers Geoff & Chris Cox.
This piece, "Make Tea not War", was also voted the Potters' Favourite, and the public's favourite on Saturday.
